Are a female rock band from Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole, France. Listening to The Beatles, they took their name “Plastiscines” from a line in “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”. In 2006 they played as part of the young Parisian rock scene and 2 tunes were featured on the compilation “Paris Calling”. Then they signed with Virgin and began their first recording “LP1” (like “first LP”, and “Les Plastiscines”).

Band from California with a new breed of energetic, percussion driven indie rock. They're one of those rare bands that have the ability to deliver live. It has been more of a challenge for the group to translate the vibrant and exciting nature of their performances to a recording.

The Strokes
Rock band from New York, formed in 1999. Equally inspired by classic tunesmiths like Buddy Holly and John Lennon as well as the attitude and angular riffs of fellow New Yorkers Television and the Velvet Underground, the Strokes were also equally blessed and cursed with an enormous amount of hype -- particularly from the U.K. music press, whose adulation for the group rivaled their fervor for Oasis in the early '90s. Their third album, First Impressions of Earth, was released in January 2006 to mixed reviews and debuted at number four in the US and number one in the UK.

Man on the Moon: The End of Day is the conceptual debut album by Cleveland alternative hip hop artist Kid Cudi.
Cobra Starship
Cobra Starship is an American synth pop band. Gabe Saporta (lead singer) was in the desert, contemplating his existence, when a cobra bit him on the neck. You're thinking: Yeah right. If a cobra bit his neck he'd be dead. But that's what happened. That moment, in the desert, while Gabe was clutching his neck in pain, hallucinating that the snake was schooling him on the dancefloor, was the inception of Cobra Starship. Not exactly the most conventional way to form a band.
