The Action Design is a rock band from California, self-described as "a refreshing mix of the band's punk rock roots infused with hard hitting dance rhythms and catchy bass lines wrought with think memorable vocal hooks".

Mando Diao

Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. The band made their first public performances in the clubs of their hometown Borlänge in 1999. A local writer described them in an article as the best unsigned band he had ever seen. "Give me Fire" is their last album released in 2009.

Architecture in Helsinki

Australian Band, they began playing in small gigs at the end of the 1990's. Their last album "Places Like This" has some very catchy and poppy singles like "Debbie", "Hold Music" and "Lazy".

Peaches

Merrill Beth Nisker born in Toronto. Before she became Peaches, Merrill was an elementary school music and drama teacher. She plays almost all instruments for her songs (notable for her use of sexual imagery), also programs her own electronic beats and produces her records.

Tegan and Sara

Canadian singers and song writers, they're identical twins and began they're musical path in 1995. Oh and random fact, they're amazingly funny and smart. You should check out some of their interviews on youtube.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour

In summer 2007, Lars met up with former band mate and singer Mette to play her some demos. She went home with a CD and returned the day after with lots of ideas of her own. The pair immediately set to work, spending last summer practically living, recording, eating, composing and sleeping in Lars’s self-built studio in his one room flat in Copenhagen. Every night after a hard day’s work, they would end up drunk on Lars’s balcony until early morning.

Their music was heard by Apple Chairman, Steve Jobs who personally selected their track "Around The Bend" to be used in an iPod touch commercial. The band has also recorded an iTunes exclusive Live session EP in New York.

The White Tie Affair

Band from Chicago, Illinois. They released their debut album "Walk This Way" in 2008. The band has a wide range of influences like AFI, The Police, Stevie Wonder and Prince. Many of The White Tie Affair's songs are dance songs which the band performs with a kinetic energy.

Formed out of the ashes of First Day Back, they formed while still at school, Friendly Fires make razor-sharp post-punk that burns through the memories of all the dismal, skinny jeaned ‘80s revivalists you’ve been hearing these past few years. Sounding brittle, knotty and urgent, Friendly Fires are the real deal.

Lady GaGa

The Fame is Lady GaGa's debut album. Uh Huh Her

Los Angeles based Uh Huh Her is a dynamic pairing of musician/actress Leisha Hailey and singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Camila Grey.

Uh Huh Her’s sound – a self-described indie electro-pop hybrid – is a unique and organic product of Hailey and Grey’s styles. "[The sound] is the evolution from our backgrounds," Grey says. "We slammed them all together and that's what came out." Their music has a sultriness that crashes head on with the profound, both cosmic and carnal; it is replete with elastic bass lines, ambient synths and backbeats that will seduce to the core.
